His father, Hrithik Roshan, is one of Hindi cinema’s prominent actors, while his mother, Sussanne Khan, is an interior designer and entrepreneur. His paternal grandfather Rakesh Roshan is a filmmaker and producer, while his great-grandfather Roshan was a celebrated Hindi-film composer. Hrehaan has a younger brother, Hridhaan Roshan, born in 2008. His parents divorced in 2014 but have continued to co-parent their sons.
What makes Hrehaan’s story particularly interesting is that he has not simply followed the most obvious acting route. Hrehaan Roshan Career Journey
Childhood Interest in Music
Hrehaan’s interest in music developed years before his professional debut. His family has publicly spoken about his dedication to music, and reports surrounding his Berklee admission noted that he had been pursuing his musical passion for several years. Rather than treating music as merely a hobby, he pursued structured education and worked on developing skills that could support a serious artistic career.
Berklee College of Music Scholarship
A defining moment in Hrehaan’s journey arrived on December 19, 2023, when he received his acceptance letter from Berklee College of Music with a merit scholarship. The achievement was publicly celebrated by Sussanne Khan and Hrithik Roshan. The scholarship is important because it represents a documented academic and artistic accomplishment connected specifically to Hrehaan’s musical ability.
Developing as a Singer and Guitarist
At Berklee, Hrehaan continued developing his musical skills while living away from the constant attention associated with his family name. Reports surrounding his debut identify him as a singer-songwriter and guitarist, suggesting that his creative involvement extends beyond simply performing vocals. His debut project demonstrates an interest in songwriting, guitar performance and personal artistic expression.
Hrehaan Roshan Music Debut in 2026
On August 28, 2026, Hrehaan formally entered the music industry as an independent artist with his English-language single “This Heavenly Place.” He wrote and performed the song and played guitar on the track. The accompanying presentation used a stripped-back black-and-white acoustic style, keeping the focus on his voice and musicianship rather than relying on an elaborate visual production. The song was produced by Sudan, with Ankur Tiwari associated with the project as A&R.
Why “This Heavenly Place” Matters
The significance of the release goes beyond the fact that Hrehaan is a celebrity child. It is his first publicly established step as an independent artist and shows the direction he has chosen for himself. Instead of beginning his professional journey with an acting role, he introduced himself through songwriting, vocals and guitar. Reports also describe him as the first singer-songwriter and guitarist from the Roshan family to publicly establish himself in this way.

Hrehaan Roshan has not made an officially announced acting debut in a television show, film or web series. His first major professional entertainment release has been in music.
